Speaker

The speaker is attached to the front of the chassis. Remove it from the inside of the chassis.

1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 18).

2. Remove the access panel (Access panel on page 19).

3. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board connector labeled SPKR (1).

4. From the inside of the chassis, remove the silver Torx T15 screw (2) that secures the speaker to the

chassis.

5. Slide the speaker to the right (3), and the remove the speaker from the chassis (4).

To replace the speaker, reverse the removal procedures.
