*If you are using the optional multipurpose tray in the Tray 1 location,
this tray is designed to perform best using plain paper of weight 60 to
105 g/m
2
(16 to 28 lb plain bond), with a maximum stack height of 100
sheets (11-mm or 0.43-inch stack) of plain paper. It can use the same
size media as the single sheet manual feed unit that was originally
installed in the Tray 1 location.
This tray provides a straight-through paper path that can handle card
stock of weight 105 to 210 g/m2 (28 to 56 lb bond), with a maximum
stack height of 10 envelopes or cards. It can also hold up to 20 sheets
of photo paper or transparencies.
