Selecting the Low Blue Light mode
Decreasing the blue light emitted by the display reduces the blue light exposure to your eyes. HP monitors
provide settings to reduce the blue light output and create a more relaxing and less stimulating image while
you view content on the screen. To adjust your monitor to a comfortable viewing light, follow the steps below.
1. Press one of the OSD buttons on the monitor to display the OSD icons on the screen.
2.
Select the Viewing Modes icon to open the Viewing Modes menu, or select the Menu icon .
Then select
Color Control > Viewing Modes.
3. Choose one of the following settings:
Low Blue Light—Reduces blue light for improved eye comfort
Night—Adjusts the monitor to the lowest blue light output
WARNING! To reduce the risk of serious injury, read the Safety & Comfort Guide. It describes proper
workstation setup, and proper posture, health, and work habits for computer users. The Safety & Comfort
Guide also provides important electrical and mechanical safety information. The Safety & Comfort Guide is
available on the Web at http://www.hp.com/ergo.
Turning on OverClock
Enhanced monitor overclocking provides a higher refresh rate that delivers less blur on moving objects and
reduces input latency. To turn on OverClock, follow the steps below.
1. Press the Menu button to open the OSD menu.
2. In the OSD menu, select Image Control, and then select OverClock. Then select On to turn on OverClock.
NOTE: Overclocking may result in icker or other adverse eects that may derive from the total
conguration of the system or external source device connected to the monitor, and possibly, in addition, the
monitor’s panel specications. It may be possible to resolve or reduce such eects by turning o OverClock to
set a lower refresh rate.
