278 X Family LSM User’s Guide V 2.5.1
STEP 1
When the warning displays, click View Certificate. The Certificate dialog box displays.
STEP 2
On the General tab, make note of the serial number.
STEP 3
Navigate and open the local workstation’s
HOSTS
file. On a Windows XP system, this file is
located in
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
.
STEP 4
Add a line to the file with the X family device’s IP address and serial number.
