TEST UNIT READY 00h
TEST UNIT READY checks if the drive is ready for commands that access the
tape. This is done by the pre-execution Media Access check; it is not a request
for a self-test. If the drive has a tape loaded, the command returns a
GOOD
status. Otherwise,
CHECK CONDITION is reported and the sense key is NOT
READY
.
