HP SmartStart EVA Storage

HP SmartStart EVA is a limited-function installation and conﬁguration tool shipped with the EVA4400.

HP SmartStart EVA is accessed using the CD shipped with the EVA and allows you to:

• Conﬁgure the management server

• Install HP Command View EVA on the management server

• Initialize and initially conﬁgure the EVA4400 and its storage

• Conﬁgure application servers to access EVA4400 storage

• Provision additional storage to already-conﬁgured servers
