Preface

This manual describes the Data Analyzer accessory product for the ACC

family of multiplexers.

Manual Organization

This manual contains the following chapters and appendices:

Chapter 1 Chapter 1, “Overview,” provides an overview of the

data analyzer, a description of data analyzer features,

and data analyzer requirements.

Chapter 2 Chapter 2, “Installing the Data Analyzer,” describes

how to install analyzer Y-cables, install the analyzer

software, and configure the analyzer.

Chapter 3 Chapter 3, “Data Analyzer Commands,” describes each

of the data analyzer program commands. Each

command is described in detail and followed by

example of use of the command.

Appendix A Appendix A, “Network Configuration,” provides

detailed information on setting up the network

configuration file.

Appendix B Appendix B, “Typical X.25 and Data Analyzer

Sessions,” provides the results of actual data analyzer

sessions that were run using this software.
