Both bonded interfaces are the same type.
2
The bonds, bond0 and bond1, are not the same type, but each type of bond may be combined with the other two types.
Maximum of 2 active bonded interfaces. May configure as many unbonded interfaces as are available.
Unsupported bonds with 10 GbE
HP StoreVirtual Storage with 10 GbE NICs installed and configured does not support these bond
types.
Bonding two bonds
ALB bond with a 1 GbE NIC and a 10 GbE NIC
Link Aggregation Dynamic Mode bond with a 1 GbE NIC and a 10 GbE NIC
IP address for NIC bonds
Allocate a static IP address for the logical bond interface (bond0 or bond1). You cannot use DHCP
for the bond IP.
NIC bonding and speed, duplex, frame size, and flow control settings
These settings are controlled on the TCP/IP and TCP Status tabs of the Network configuration
category. If you change these settings, you must ensure that both sides of the NIC cable are
configured in the same manner. For example, if the storage system is set for Auto/Auto, the switch
must be set the same. See “TCP status tab” (page 47) for more information.
