Front Cover Interlock Switch Removal
7-80 Removal/Replacement Procedures
Front Cover Interlock Switch Removal
To remove the front cover interlock switch:
1 Open the front, top, and back covers.
2 Duplex only: Remove the duplex tray.
3 Remove the upper and lower paper cassettes.
4 Remove the left side cover. (See page 7-8.)
5 Remove the AC power supply. (See page 7-29.)
6 Remove the AC power supply top cover (two screws).
7 Disconnect the two wires connected to the interlock switch.
8 Remove the front interlock switch (two screws).
