76 Removal and replacement EN
Memory Door
Note This procedure does not apply to the HP LaserJet 6L Pro. That model does not have a Memory Door.
1 Unplug the power cord and remove the parallel cable from the back of the printer.
2 Remove the toner cartridge.
3 Gently tip the printer onto its side so that the Control Panel is on top.
4 Carefully pull the door tab out (Figure 6-5, callout 1) and away from the printer in a gentle rocking
motion (Figure 6-5, callout 2).
