The computer has two PCI Express x1 expansion sockets, one PCI Express x16 expansion sockets, and one PCI

Express x16 expansion socket that is downshifted to a x4 socket.

NOTE: You can install a PCI Express x1, x8, or x16 expansion card in the PCI Express x16 socket.

For dual graphics card congurations, the rst (primary) card must be installed in the PCI Express x16 socket

that is NOT downshifted to a x4.

To remove, replace, or add an expansion card:

1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 19)

2. Remove the access panel (Access panel on page 20)
