Drive cage

Rotate the drive cage to remove and install a 2.5-inch hard drive, and to access components underneath.

1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 17).

2. Remove the access panel (Access panel on page 18).

3. Rotate the drive cage to its upright position.

4. Rotate the drive cage back down to its normal position.

IMPORTANT: Be careful not to pinch any cables or wires when rotating the drive cage down.
