set target_chap

Description Sets the CHAP secret (password) used to access an iSCSI target when

CHAP is enabled. To enable CHAP authentication on the target, use the set

iscsi_keys co

mmand.

Syntax set target_chap <target><secret>

Operands <target>

ThealiasnameoftheiSCSItarget.

The CHAP secret (12–16 character password) used to access an iSCSI

target when CHAP is enabled.

Example

To set the CHAP secret on target1 to mychapsecret123:

CLI> set target_chap target1 mychapsecret123
