Using Windows for Workgroups 3.11

The following procedure installs Windows for Workgroups 3.11 and configures

appropriate device drivers.

Requirements

♦ OmniBook 3000.

♦ MS-DOS 6.22 disks.

♦ Windows for Workgroups 3.11 disks.

♦ OmniBook 3000 Windows for Workgroups 3.11 drivers.

Location: OmniBook Hard disk drive or Recovery CD in

\OMNIBOOK\DRIVERS\WFW.

Before you Start

• This installation assumes you have the default HP Windows 95 build on the hard

drive. If you have repartitioned the hard disk drive, please follow the procedure

in the Introduction chapter to create the hibernation partition. Reformatting the

hard drive before installing MS-DOS and Windows ensures a clean installation.
