NOTE: The following bar codes can be used either while in HID mode (when reader is connected using

Bluetooth) or for configuring the base.

This option specifies the format in which the scanner sends character data.

When using the Base Interface, this applies only to keyboard wedge interfaces. It does not apply when an

alternate key encoding keyboard is selected.
