Auto-sensing technology that adapts to
your environment, automatically identifying
and connecting to the right client virtual-
ization infrastructure in just seconds.
Too smart to be called Zero
The HP t5565z Smart Client is a uniquely intel-
ligent zero client delivering new levels of simplic-
ity and value in thin computing. Too smart to be
called a Zero, the HP t5565z features auto-sens-
ing technology that adapts to your environment.
You can choose to deploy or repurpose the HP
t5565z in Citrix XenDesktop environments with
support for HDX, or choose VMware View or
Microsoft Session Virtualization via RDP 6, for a
brilliant user experience. HP Smart Client intel-
ligence is automatically inherited from the pre-
configured host server in the data center. Simply
connect the HP Smart Client to the network and
a user monitor, and you’re on.
PC performance, energy efficiency built in
Connect to the latest in display technology with
native dual-digital monitor support or connect

Zero configuration
The HP Smart Client is a truly no-touch zero cli-
ent device. Just set up your server, boot the client
and connect. HP Smart Clients combine the ben-
efits of a zero client with HP auto-sensing tech-
nology that automatically connects to the net-
work and searches for the right Citrix, VMware
or Microsoft client virtualization infrastructure
and downloads everything it needs to deliver a
robust user experience. The user is up and run-
ning quickly with no local user interface and just
three steps from log on to productivity.
Zero management
Using the HP Smart Client infrastructure, you can
set up your network in minutes. At each boot up,
the HP t5565z Smart Client automatically identi-
fies the assigned environment from the server in
seconds – even if the client virtualization software
has been transitioned to a new environment. The
desktop receives seamless updates as needed
without individual lT support or interrupting the
user session. Our tools help minimize on-site
maintenance visits, improve operating efficiency
and protect your investment. Use the profile editor
to make connection changes in just a few clicks
and clients seamlessly receive updates from the
cloud. Fall-back Intelligence on the client allows
users to stay connected even if the server is of-
fline.
Zero compromise
Unlike other zero clients, you can deploy HP
Smart Clients with the peace of mind that if
your client virtualization software changes your
HP Smart Clients will adapt to your environ-
ment. Simply repurpose your HP Smart Client for
another protocol, saving time and money. The
solid-state design of the HP t5565z is near silent
and fits in your environment -- even attached to
the back of a monitor with the HP QuickRelease
2
--- creating a zero client footprint for maximum
workspace efficiency.
