1. The specification for the opens and shorts are given as allowed deviation from the

nominal model as defined in the test report included in the kit.

3. The characteristic impedance for the air lines is based on mechanical mesure-

ments. The return loss specification includes the connector interfaces. The minimum

frequency of the air lines is based on calculations of the impedance change due to

the skin depth. Refer to the test report included in the kit for the exact dimensions of

your precision air lines.
